Students from the PTS Leoben and Trofaiach schools learned about these great career opportunities at DMH Dichtungs- und Maschinenhandel GmbH, one of the world leaders in the field of turned seals and the production of modern CNC machines for plastic processing.

It was an exciting morning that offered the students in-depth insights into an innovative, globally operating company. From Traboch, the family business has been supplying seals, machines, and semi-finished products to around 80 countries worldwide for more than two decades. The company's success is driven by approximately 180 highly trained employees from various fields, who are part of the DMH family.

To ensure that the company remains home to the best professionals in their fields in the future, personnel promotion and development are highly prioritized. This starts with apprentices! Upon completing their training at DMH, they become top talents and find excellent career opportunities in Traboch.

As part of a special open day for the Polytechnical Schools of Leoben and Trofaiach, students were able to explore a wonderful apprenticeship in fields such as plastic technology, mechatronics, process engineering, and machining technology.

After the welcome and an introduction to the company and its excellent internal apprenticeship program, a tour of the production departments was on the agenda. Divided into groups, the students visited stations in the sealing and machinery department, mechanical manufacturing, and injection molding, where they gained insights into daily operations, with department heads and apprentices available as contacts.
